Takédo is 80 and still bouncing
Hi again -
Here's an intriguing story from one of my trips to Japan.
It's about a woman named Takédo. She's a little over 80 but her agility fascinates me.
She's as spry as a squirrel!
Every morning, she'd spring past my window in her workout clothes with the demeanor and carriage of a younger adult in her 30s.
This made me curious.
After all, not once have I seen a senior back in the States look as vibrant as Takédo.
So, one morning I interrupted her.
"Ohayo," I sputtered.
"Good morning", she replied, with a smile on her face.
I then asked how old she was and how she was so healthy for her age.
Takédo went on to tell me that the right food has been her medicine all through the years.
And this got me thinking…
If at her age, Takédo lives life without any pain whatsoever, then there must be something in what she's eating.
And yes, I did find the answer. Because she was generous enough to tell me her recipe for staying healthy without pain.
So, let me share a few of the foods that Takédo doesn't go a day without. I know they can help soothe your nerve pain when you start regularly eating them:
- Green, leafy vegetables. Broccoli, spinach, and asparagus all contain vitamin B, a nutrient important for nerve regeneration and nerve function. Spinach, broccoli, and kale also contain a micronutrient called alpha-lipoic acid that prevents nerve damage and improves nerve function.
- Zucchini. A type of summer squash, zucchini is actually a fruit. And like other fruits, it’s rich in antioxidants and, therefore, good for nerve cells. It’s also a good source of potassium, which promotes effective nerve transmission, and magnesium, which calms excited nerves.
- Avocado. This unique fruit is full of healthy fats. Like quinoa, it has a healthy dose of potassium, which promotes effective nerve conduction. It also helps increase your body’s absorption of antioxidants.
Now, if you're already taking Nervitalize Advanced Nerve Relief Support and start consuming the food that Takédo’s fond of, guess what?
You're well on your way to living a relatively normal life!
After all, Nervitalize Advanced Nerve Relief Support is packed to the brim with essential vitamins and nutrients needed to help heal damaged nerves.
And if you add the right food to the mix, your neuropathy may soon be a thing of the past.
Warmly,
Kierstyn Messina
